She graduated from the Accademia di Belle Arti of Milan in 1989 before moing to paris where she studied at the Paris in the 1990’s where she studied at the Ecole Nationale des Beaux Arts under Pierre Carron, Leonardo Cremonini and Vladimir Velickovic. She subsequently worked as assistant to the Italian artist Valerio Adami. In 1999 she won the first prize of the prestigious "Grand Prix du portrait Louis Weller" of the French Academy of Art.
