• Introducing PLATANOS Paxos Ceramic Studio

  The Paxos Ceramics Studio « Platanos » is a specially designed building by Corfu architect Marilena Koskina, inaugurated in 2026. It is located at Platanos, a site near the village of Fountana on the Greek island of Paxos. The studio is located in a beautiful natural setting among the age-old Venetian olive groves of Paxos.   Gareth Vivian van Blerk was born in Cape Town, South Africa on 12 March 1971. After graduating from the Michaelis School of Fine Art at the University of Cape Town in 1995 he travelled widely before settling down in France in 1997. In Paris he befriended and began his collaboration with future gallery directors Chris Boïcos and Jennifer Robertson Norback.

  "Images of Revelation" Exhibition Opening on Tuesday 4th July 2023 in the Latin Chapel of the Old Fortress of Corfu with the presence of the artist.

  We will be delighted to share a glass of wine with you at the opening, on Tuesday 27 June of this summer’s first art exhibition in Paxos, "Catalan Ceramic Art in Paxos", at the Old School in Loggos.
