  [Emma Mellot->Emmannuelle Mellot-Kristy was our artist resident in Paxos in July 2015 when she ran our first printmaking workshop. The series of six etchings "Paxos. • Opening reception of W.Utermohlen : A Persistence of Memory at LUMA, Chicago !

  In 1995, William Utermohlen was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. For the next seven years, Utermohlen continued to make art as the disease progressed. LUMA’s exhibition of over 100 works of art shows the impact of this debilating disease on the artist’s creative output.
  During this last period of his life, although feeling increasingly isolated in verbal communication, Utermohlen continued to produce meaningful images of himself and his surroundings. (...)

  The Big Messy Christmas Show opened its doors to the public on 1st December at Le HUIT gallery.
  Attendants included some of our exhibiting artists :
  David Loeb, Jean Le Moal, Jean-Manuel Simoes, Magali Veslin andJorge Rodriguez de Rivera were present at the opening reception to welcome and guide around the audience.
